About Our Pastor
Randall
M. Lassiter is a powerful spiritual, business and community leader in the city
of
Paterson. His reputation for
effectively communicating and motivating young people and adults is known and
admired throughout
North Jersey.
Rev. Lassiter is
currently Executive Assistant to the President for Passaic County Community
College, He is the Senior Pastor and Founder of the Greater Faith Church of
the Abundance; and he is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Delta Mu
Lambda Chapter, and a mentor to numerous high school and college students
throughout the community. His higher educational accomplishments include East
Stroudsburg University- BA Economics and Fairleigh Dickinson University-Master
of Administrative Science. He also served as the former
college basketball coach at New Jersey Institute of
Technology & William
Paterson
State
University.
Mr.
Lassiter is author of the new book, You Are Not Your Circumstances. It
is a self-help book that encourages readers to never let the cares of this
world cripple them and keep them from achieving their dreams and desires. He
is in the process of writing a second book that will provide strategies for
working with youths and developing better spiritual and cultural values. He
has designed and formed one of the first male support programs for elementary
school-aged boys in the
Northern Jersey area. His strategies and
techniques in working with young people have been so well received that
several newspapers (The Record, The Herald News, The Star Ledger, and USA
Today) have sought his expertise and commentary.
As a
noted speaker, Rev. Lassiter has addressed thousands of people at dozens of
organizations, including colleges, churches and community groups. He has also
been featured on local radio and cable programs. He has been honored as one of
the Outstanding Young Men in
America and
has received numerous awards for his dedication to community service.
He
resides in
Prospect Park,
New Jersey, and is permanently
married to the former Krystal Faye Richardson. They have
two sons, Nigel and Joell.
